Designed by the award-winning Sergio Mori, the Forever Cuban is styled after a stubby Cuban cigar and made entirely by hand in Italy from FSC-certified maple wood.
Like a cigar, the Cuban is made to be held; this is a very tactile writing instrument. The Titanio has a slightly rough-textured, industrial look about it.
The Cuban is not only beautiful, it's clever too. Using a patented metal alloy tip (Ethergraf®) to produce a graphite-like line, it writes like a hard pencil, and its markings - which are lighter than a normal pencil - can even be erased like one. It works by leaving a bit of the 'lead' - or metal alloy - on the paper, but it wears down so slowly it should last for a lifetime of use.
This model is meant to be shown off; as such it is supplied with a desk stand that will allow it to take pride of place on your desk and garner admiring comments from all who see it!
