Is the Pilot Cocoon the same pen as the Pilot MR (Metropolitan)?
Yes. Cocoon is the Japanese name for the pen sold elsewhere as the Pilot MR or Metropolitan; this Chanomegumi version is a limited Japanese edition.
Is there a matching fountain pen?
Yes. The Pilot Cocoon Chanomegumi fountain pen (fine nib) comes in the same three colours.
About the Chanomegumi series
Chanomegumi (茶の恵, "the blessings of tea") is Pilot's leather goods series made with Lezza Botanica® upcycled leather, tanned with liquid pressed from the used tea leaves left over from Ito En green tea production. The limited Cocoon pens were designed to match the series' Chanomegumi pen sheath; the pens themselves are not made from recycled tea leaves.
