UHU
UHU - The famous trademark for glues
The world's first ready-to-use transparent artificial resin adhesive was developed by August Fischer in 1932. It reliably bonded all materials known at the time, even the first plastics such as Bakelit®. As was common in the paper, office supplies, and stationery industry, he chose the name of a bird for his new product: "UHU The All Purpose Adhesive".
The glue in the yellow & black tube has now become one of the most well-known branded products of our time. More than 100 years since its foundation, UHU can now look back on a corporate history that is marked by continuous progress in research & development and marketing. The development of innovative products and advanced adhesive technologies has resulted in a complete range of adhesives for the widest range of materials, that lead the way in terms of quality and performance.
